Gracie, my little sister and best friend, is going in for corneal transplant surgery tomorrow morning.

She's nervous.
I'm nervous.

She's packing up little things she'll need for surgery like warm socks.

I'm trying to be calm cool and collected. I'm packing things to read and to knit , for the 4ish hours I'm going to be sitting in the waiting room.
