"the opposite of faith is not doubt, it's certainty." -a priest friend of mine.
thank you for reminding me of this. the visitor in Sunday school today spoke with certainty about who/what/where and why God is. I forget that people feel safe when they think they know all there is to know about God AND have all the answers already.
