this past weekend:
I have realized what peace really means...
I looked an alligator in the eye and lived to tell the story...
I added a new reminder to "love." to be with me always....
(along with some good friends who are reminding themselves to have faith and to hope....)
(thanks b & e for being in this with me!)
I celebrated a friend's birth the best way i know how: by risking my life on a carnival ride(k- sorry i had my eyes shut for most of it!) and with a tasty corndog....
I've said good-bye to my favorite priest (though Edward, if you're reading this...you are actually tied for that position!)-Sarah, thank you for loving me...for letting me be apart of your story and for being part of mine.....
I watched another congregation say "hello" to their new minister, after being without one for so long. and enjoyed watching them start their new dance of relationship with each other...
I found myself worshiping with a group of Vietnamese Baptists, and feeling God's presence though i had no inkling of what was going on, except for "Hallelu Yah" ... (thanks Sarah-Ann for helping me out!)
I have enjoyed a lovely meal of MRE's complete with wonderful company! because any kind of manna with good people and with thankful hearts are always wonderful!
(thanks Kerr-Bear!)
I have loved being reminded time and time again that we are all apart of one another's stories. and we are all apart of a story larger than we can imagine. We find ourselves in a great and beautiful mess......
