A Christmas Letter of Sorts

i wish i had some things up my sleeve that i could wow you with. something wonderful that i've accomplished or created. but really the theme of my last year has been all about faithfulness. and having hope.

so here i am, writing a "Christmas letter" about my year..in effort to thank you for your love and support and encouragement. for being examples of Christ to me.

this year you have supported me financially, prayerfully, and emotionally to pick up my life and move it into a disaster zone. you have encouraged me to do what i knew i was supposed to do, even when that was hard and scary or painful.

thank you.

you have rejoiced in my rejoicing, and i in our rejoicing! in moves, and promotions, new knitting skills, in having the right words at the right moment,in long awaited graduations, in your courageous acts, in your laughter and in new babies.

thank you for allowing me the privilege of being present in those happy moments!

you have also mourned with me in my mourning. and i in yours. in loss of dreams, in change of plans, in losing those we love dearly.

thank you for letting me be apart of that with you. and thank you for entering into my mourning as well.

thank you. thank you. thank you! i love being apart of your lives, and i'm incredibly blessed to have you in mine!

LOVE,
Linda

Hi Lovely! Merry Christmas to you too! I'm feeling you on the whole this "year has been all about faithfulness. and having hope..." that is most certainly where I am at as well. Was reading 1 John today and was reminded that our God loves us and is also faithful to us... also, because of some events in our family, was reminded that we can never outgive God. So I'm thankful that our hope is not just wishful thinking, but that God *will* work His purposes in our lives. Praise God :) and Thank you! for all you do.
