i love my job!

i'm really excited.

my current project at work is to plan an ecumenical prayer vigil for immigrant families.

the theme is going to hospitality!

i get to invite the Vietnamese and Filipino community to join us.

i'm really excited!

i get to work with the reverend sally bevill to plan the liturgy for the evening.

i get to stock up on candles and talk choirs into singing songs of praise.

i get to invite boarder patrol and other local law enforcement, so we can pray for them.

i get to invite all denominations to participate!

i get to organize a potluck supper, so that after everyone has prayed together they can brake bread together.

i'm so excited.

i get to help bring lots of people together to pray to God about issues that are complex, trusting that God is big enough to handle that complex issue.

i get to help the church cross denominational lines to love their immigrant neighbors.

i will get to see the church be who she's supposed to be.

i'm so excited!
